Powerful Servo motors with integrated controller board in the same housing is what you get with the intelligent SERVIDA positioning systems for a decentralized automation solution. With the new Class5 series Animatics GmbH launches their significant optimized intelligent compact drives based on Calss4 a already well accepted and reliable working system in the field since many years. Significant differences in the Class5 series are that you can choose between sinusoidal and trapezoidal commutation. You get a processor with a sample rate of 16kHz, 8 interrupt routines, 4 timers and other very powerful tools with which you can realize an application without an extra PLC. Also you will get predefined protection functions for a save operation on your machines. With extended math functions and floating point operations the SERVIDA controller offers a very powerful and userfriendly programming base. Next to the RS232 and RS485 you can get optionally a CANopen fieldbus according to the CIA DS402 as well 10 extra optoisolated I/Os. The SERVIDA Class5 series is available in NEMA23 as well as in NEMA34 sizes and offers a nominal output power up to about 450W.
